I want to replace the primer bulb and fuel line assemblies on my 265 express... Can someone confirm how these connect? I think it's just a hose couple on the engine, but what does it connect to on the boat side? The fuel filter bracket? Does it use the fitting that comes with these assemblies? Just wondering since I am an hour from the boat...

Does it use "what" fitting that comes with "which" assemblies?

But the hoses are clamped onto a barb. It will take you less time to figure it out than the time it took you to write that question :)

Is this fitting used on either side, or do I cut them off? Engine side, yes - boat side? I am guessing also yes, but just wanted to know for sure... Easier for me to ask here than drive an hour to figure it out myself... :)

If I remember right, my lines are clamped onto the bulb (I replaced one a couple years ago), so I guess I could just buy some fuel line instead... It's 5/16th ID, right?

Give yourself more credit - it's self explanatory when you see it in person.

That fitting is used for a portable gas tank.

I'll assume you don't have Oetiker pliers and clamps (google it), so bring a couple appropriate band clamps and a pair of snips in case you have to cut off an Oetiker (IF it's even used).

Oh... you may need to unfeed and refeed the line through a rigging tube, if you have one.

Thanks, you all... I don't recall seeing the oetiker clamps, though I do have the tool for crimping... So, I think I am GTG with getting some line and maybe a new bulb for the the one I didn't replace... Thanks for the feedback...

FYI, a barb connector to connect the old line to the new one (tape it together) will help pull it through the tube - silicone spray will help.

I need to correct myself...
it goes to the filter/water separator ....ah duh....

...which then goes to the center port of the fuel valve...
