I have a 1999 225 with a broken port side windshield. Apparently thie windhield was broken by a previous owner and replaced with a piece of plexiglass that beamce brittle and finally broke. Apparently the plexi was too big because the frame could not be screweed together properly and was cobbled together with some kind of stickly black cr*p.

I have located the corect part and want to install myself. Has anybody done this before? It looks easy, but I have done alot of work on my boat and many things that look easy end up being very difficult.

Any advice would be nice.

I too am looking for the same advice. I will say that I removed the port side windshield it was just screws and weatherstripping. It looked easy to replace

I have a 94 225G.

Ordered a replacement widshield today from a guy near Tampa. He walked me through the installation and it sounds simple enough. Only scary part is you have to flex the glass to fit in the cirved top and bottom frame. Apparently the glass flexes enough. I will do the installation in two weeks when I get back to the boat.

great - Let me know how it goes.

Did you get the windshield from these people? Marine Glass @ 813-926-3717 I assume then the purchase included the glass?
