The 200 would work, but for me, I wouldn't go down in HP. With the 250, you don't have to use all the HP, but it's nice if you need it.

Does your 225 suit you now? Or is it marginal in performance with your use? Grady's are heavy, HP is your friend.

The hull is rated for 250HP and the weight really isn't that much of a difference. If you can get to the scuppers and ensure all the drain lines are in solid shape, you prob are fine.

shes ready to go!

I have a 250 on my 222 and I love it. She scoots we’ll even with 6 people on board. I do get a little water in the cockpit with 3 people in the cockpit, going to replace scupper flaps and see if that helps. I wonder if anyone has put a 300 on being that they are lighter.
