I am currently moving up from a 244 Explorer (will be posted for sale here soon) to a larger Grady. The 268 Islander has crossed my mind but concerned that it really is not that much of a "step-up" from my current hull. I was curious what the actual running surface length or waterline length on the Islander is. I am thinking because of the integrated bracket, it is not really much more than what I currently have on the Explorer. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

Ask GW customer service for diagrams, then you will know exactly what to expect. Cabin is likely bigger on the 268 and has more head room. Deck space is probably similar or less.
