running transducer cable 2024 232 Gulfstream

I am installing all my accessories to my new Grady. Can anyone tell me how to run the transducer cable to the front? I have found two tubes on starboard but they are 80% full of cables. Is there a dedicated empty tube or do I just snake it up one of the semi-full tubes? Either one? How close to the very bottom have you mounted transducer as there are some large thru hulls with bronze water strainers a few feet ahead of transom and looking to reduce bubbles.
And radar - installing 18" radar. Is the fuse box in overhead electronics box carry enough amperage to tap into or should I run the power cable down the tube to the lower fuse box?

On mine, a 215, I first opened up the console to see which tubes from the bilge fed the console. Mine had two tubes, both opening up in the console and I used the inboard tube.
Ran the snake from the console to the bilge and pulled.the transducer cable plus a nylon pull rope so I wouldn’t need to snake in the future.
As to transducer location, starboard side, avoid thru-hulls. I used the stern saver product for the transducer bracket then in to the motor well and in to the bilge from there. No holes in the transom below the waterline.
As to the radar, see what the unit draws to see if wire sizing/fuese are ample feeding the electronics box.
I enjoy rigging even though it’s a pain…you get to know a lot more about your boat.

You need to look at the wires feeding your fuse box. See if they are big enough for whatever you power up there. I power an 18 inch Garmin radar, running light, and a Garmin 942xv off of my fuse box which is fed with ten gauge on my boat (check your owner's manual, it will tell you).

When you snake through whatever tube you do, put a pull string that is at least a foot more than twice the length of the tube. That way you can use that to pull stuff in either direction. Why Grady didn't do that is a mystery to me.

My owners manual is lacking. My last boat was the 285 Freedom, 2015, that came with great diagrams. This new manual is worthless.
I did use the larger tube and ran a fish tape and line through and tied off waiting for when I mount the transducer.

I will check power feed to upper fuse block. A 12 gauge should be enough to power the radar and VHF.

I agree that it is fun to install these items and you do learn a new boat. This is boat number 18 and still learning. Mounting outriggers today which should be easy with predrilled mounting plates.
