Ran the boat back from the Cape today and it is in the backyard. Winterize the engine and water system tomorrow. Season is officially over, it was a good one though. Yeah I know for you southern guys the season is never over so don't start...

As ad as it is you got a month more than many of us - can't even imagine how nice it would be to take the boat our for a ride in February with 80 degree temps - May is right around the corner

My wife and I went for our last fishing trip Sat out of beaufort NC water was 60 degrees 40 miles out. Caught nothing to speak of. She is put away until mid April. For me there just is not many pretty days in the winter, that cold NE wind always blowing. The gulf stream is 60 miles out. I believe Florida is the place to be in the winter. Is NC the only state that is still commercially in shore netting?? Five netting boats out sat with in three miles of shore.
