Sailfish Weight

Any one have a good guess as to the weight of a '98 272 Sailfish excluding personal items.
Accessories:
Hardtop, Rupp Top Guns, Grady 5 rod rack on top, radio box, windlass, 200' anchor rode with 30' chain, 4 batteries, charger, 225 OX 66's, AC, shore power, electric head about 75 gals fuel, boat lifting bracket, full enclosure.
2000 brochure lists bare hull at 5500#
I'm guessing hardtop, riggers & rod racks at 450#, windlass at 35#, anchor & chain 25#, batteries & charger 250#, AC 50#, head 30#, fuel 525#, water 240# and maybe 50# misc. stuff.
Total is 1655#, grand total = 7155#
Am I close or under?

Don't forget each motor weights around 450#'s. I was thinking my 99' with similar options is around 7500-8000 pounds. I am keeping my eyes open for a trailer for it and I know I need a 10,000 GVW minimum trailer.

Thanks I forgot about the motors.
So my estimate of 7155# + 900 # = 8055 + trailer @ 2000# = 10,055# sounds right.

I was emailing boattrailersdirect.com and they said their trailers weighed just over 1,000lbs so a 10,000 pound trailer gave me enough wiggle room. I just plan on moving the boat back and forth to the mooring once in the spring and the fall, but I like the option of pulling it myself in the need of a storm or repair. The trailers at boat trailers direct seemed to suit my needs if I end up having to go new and they could get it to me in 2 weeks.

I only got to take my sailfish for a ride twice after I bought it in the fall and the extra weight makes a huge difference coming from my 24' Offshore.

Gas is 6 # per gallon. 1200. Plus 10 gallons of oil.

don't forget water, fuel, oil, head tank, gear and safety margin. A decent wag is take the hull and add 50% more.

I was wondering the same. With fuel and 200 lbs for gear I get 10,362 lbs (full fuel).

That being said a tri ax trailer with 3 x 3500 lbs axles just cuts it which is what I have and you can tell the trailer is taking pretty well max as it likes to creak and groan but it works!

Forgot to mention I have twin 275 2004 Verados which weigh close to 650 lbs each

Mine loaded with 202 gals fuel, 32 gals. water and trailer = 9400 lbs.
