I have a few questions about my 1989 Gulf Stream.
I seem to have a small amount of water in the bilge that i did not have last season.
I noticed that the rean transom scuppers seem to be allowing water to flow into the motor well area even when I'm not on the boat.
I was hoping to not have to pull the boat and basically looking for suggestions on where and what to look for water intrusion without tearing the whole boat/deck apart.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions and direction.

Sounds like you already have your answer if water is coming in through the scuppers? I'd pull it and take care of that before your boat becomes a reef.

Isn’t the motor well separated from the bulge? I thought it was basically an open area with 2 drains with flaps. Water can get by the flaps or over the rear of the well but it should drain out the same drains.
Water can come into the bilge a number of ways. Rain, anchor rode, washing, water system all potential sources.

Yes it has the
One of Grady’s infamous design features/flaws was pop out inspection ports in the splash well, straight into the bilge. Do you have those?
Yes it does have that inspection port in the center of the well.

I know, just put it in last week and was hoping to avoid pulling it on the holiday weekend. By the way, the boat name is P2R20, named after a Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station Outage. long story.
