1995 225 Tournament . Non skid was pretty wore down . 3 rolls of the cheap Amazon stuff , $160.00 bucks.
Trimmed the adhesive paper back 4 inches around the edges and joints. Seems to stick pretty good.
feels grippy and cushiony , Going fishing tomorrow so we’ll see how it holds up to fish blood and slime (walleye).

I just bought some amazon stuff. I see you went right over the hatches and 6" ports and only stuck it 4" around (each 36" piece?)?
I was thinking leaving the hatch seams uncovered and do circles around the inspection ports. maybe a gap down the center of ports for drainage fore & aft. (don't want puddles on the ports)
That requires some planning and matching lines and a lot of waste

Your method seems simpler if less permanent...

My intentions were to have a removable mat , I tried a test piece with removing a 2” wide piece of adhesive backing paper on 2 mating pieces and using 4” wide gorilla tape to hold the pieces together On the backside.
Worked pretty good holding the pieces together but left a gap on the topside.
considered using Velcro around the edges which works but raised the edge of the mat up.
If I ever need to access the fuel tanks the mat would be fairly easy to remove . I did leave a gap around the whole thing for drainage.

I love the Gator-Step (similar to Sea Deck) on my Gulfstream. I figure I will get a good 5 - 7 years out of it, then will have to replace it, but it make the deck so nice to be on bare feet.

I have the plain vanilla hull with a tower and some extra hull-colored canvas over the cockpit and over the tower. Dark teak decking makes a nice contrast and has some functionality, too. I put a cool wrap on my last boat after having it a few years and it made the boat feel new. The FlexDek that I used did the same for my Marlin.

anyone done sea deck and was not happy or is good as avertized ?

We had it installed 2 months ago and love it! It’s cool to the touch and feels great on your feet. We went with the OEM look, soft off white to blend with the Grady. We have a center console for the heavy fishing duties, our 33 Express is used as an RV on water.

Looks fantastic! Any chance they shared the template with you so, I could give it to a local dealer up here in MA?

Got mine done last season and I love it. I didn’t go full tits covering every square inch. Went with the lazered pattern so it looks a bit more grainy. I also swapped out my inspection covers and frames to match. It’s so easy on the feet and knees. My nonskid was in good shape but what a bitch keeping it clean. Scrubbing constantly. All I do with the seadek is hose it with the nozzle set to “jet”.

I don’t fish this boat hard at all so I can’t comment on that. More of a pleasure boater here (yes I know why did I buy a serious fishing boat then?).

Don't know if it's the gray or what,,, but that has a very clean,sharp, look to it. I've seen the teak color and it doesn't have the clean look like this one. Maybe it's because the gray has more of a contrast than the teak, don't know? Strictly my perception. Either one would work though,, guess that's why we have choices.

I did get my pieces installed a few weeks back and very pleased with the outcome.
