Got my kit in today and I’m going to start next week. Going to install it on my 1995 192. Cable steering is wore out so decided to upgrade after much research. Motor is still the original ‘95 Yamaha but I hope to upgrade that next year. Any tips, ideas, thoughts, comments on the the upgrade?

Update: got all the old steering out .. had to remove the motor to install one rod In the motor. Also raised the motor 1 hole. Also got the hole for the helm drilled.
What ever happened? Are you having so much fun with the new steering that you can find time to tell us how things went.
