Trying to see if someone with a seafarer could post/pm me a picture of how the helm cover would attach after it drops down from the windshield. i need to make one and know it snaps onto the windshield frame, but unsure where it attaches behind the seats and going down towards floor. there are alot of snaps around there. assuming some are for the cover and some are for the rear curtains. My boat does not have a hard top.
thanks in advance.

Since you're having the cover done custom, use whichever snaps work for you. There would be no right or wrong way to do it.

The helm cover on my 208 matches the bimini top side and aft curtain, so the snaps work for both.

I have an old helm cover on my Seafarer that I’m just using until I finish the project, then I’ll put on the full canvas. I’ll try to remember to snap a picture tomorrow.

Follows the windshield frame around past the seats then goes down the outside of the cabin wall and snaps behind both seats and snaps on the inside of the space between the seats. I have a 1999 228 and it has the factory helm cover. It also has a tie and zipper around the right front pipe for the hard top. Boat is in the slip or else I would take a couple of pictures for you.

Hope this helps. It’s old and dirty, but it’s only there until I finish the boat

I am about to make one like that for my 228, but I may change the pattern first, to cover the glass. Also will have a zipper up the middle.
i was thinking about putting i a zipper. just want to cover the front up from the weather while it sits in the sip.
