It’s funny you ask. I tried which is why there was a space below the post. The site said that the file was too large? It’s just a iPhone photo?

Oh, you don't need to spend the extra money on epoxy, either, if you don't want to. Polyester will work just as well for this application at a much lower cost.

Poly as a sealer of the wood or as a coating over the wood surface?

That is revealing, in a helpful way. It motivates me to find the cause of the brown stain at the base of my port bulkhead, before it gets to that point. But you are right, it is a mess.

Check for materials before you get to deep. There is a shortage on poly right now. Boat builders in Florida are knocking some of the inflated pricing down for customers to wait while production slows.

If you want to add welt piping that Grady used around the perimeter, I have some extra in white color from my 228 rehab.

I am in Thailand now until late June FYI- (Long story LOL), but can ship you some early July.

Does anybody know the thickness that Grady used ? Laying it out with door frames etc it looks like 1 1/4 inch to me

It was exactly 3/4" on my 87 hull. Doubt very much that Grady would have changed that.
