After removing the center piece of my deck in a 282 what’s the best sealant/caulking to fill in the gap between stationary deck and removable deck price?

Silicone yes but I would use the exterior stuff like for Windows & Doors & Gutters. (even though its probably all the same shi...different tube..)

Don't get the Latex stuff. Get silicone or GE Silicone II

Yup, GE Silicone II Almond. It's what the dealers use for all deck seals.

After posting my suggestion, I kind of remember that they don't call it Kitchen and Bath anymore. The difference between the old K&B, the new exterior and the regular silicone is that the exterior type has a mildewcide that fights off mold growth ( for a few years:)).
