Just want to share this...my 1995 268 Islander is equipped with redundant Lowrance HDS 7 units and a 3G Radar ( fairly new about 4 years old). I was constantly having an issue with both units turning off and then restarting but not popping the breaker. Finally figured out the wiring was fine and it was the 22 year old circuit breaker for the house battery that was the problem. It was in terrible shape - corroded as hell ..why not after that long? I believe it was the original. I replaced it with a Bluesea sytems breaker and the issue is resolved.
