I have 2019, twin Yamaha 300's with 260 hours. It has been 51 hours and 8 months since my last service. I am taking a three week trip and will likely put another 100 hours on the boat.

Should I have the "100 hour" service done at 51 hours before I go on the trip or wait until I get home and have it done at 151 hours (10 months)?

My two cents worth.....Assuming you had the 200 hour service completed, I would just bring a couple of fuel water separators with you and change them out at the 100 hour point. Check your oil level prior to your trip and do the remaining when you return. I did the same thing a couple years ago on a long trip to the keys.

Protect your warranties. I would do it before the trip and again when you return. The motors would likely be fine but if something should happen you don't want Yamaha to have an out.

I have to agree with Hook. It would keep you covered and remove any questions. Keep receipts for verification.
