I assume the shower sump pump works by a float the same way the bilge does. Recently I was in area that prohibited the discharge of grey water. Is there any way to manually prevent the sump from discharging ?
Thanks

The shower sump is usually on a breaker that requires youmto turn on. With it off, the water will overflow the small container meant to catch the grey water where the sump pump is located. It will overflow into your bilge. As long as too much water does not flow into your bilge, you will be okay. If it does, mthen your bilge pump will kick on and pump it overboard.
