I took ownership of our new to us 2000 Grady-White 248 Voyager with a Yamaha 250HP OX66 power plant hanging off the back. I can't say enough good things about Rory Hogan of Riteway Marine Solutions, Babylon, L.I. From soup to nuts he has us right to hit the water safely: new Garmin GPS, 2 new batteries, 8 new life jackets, dock lines, fenders, fire extinguisher, flares and an emergency flag. He also slid a brand new Venture Commander 6500 tandem wheel trailer under her. The trip home was 106 miles of taking mental notes and print up a cheat sheet of things to remember when trailering! #1- put the truck in tow mode!

If you plan on keeping it in that spot of your yard you might want to consider some sort of cover to keep sap off. Not to mention pine needles and anything else.

Yeah, it was a problem just getting it in there! Changes they are a-coming.

It was a fishing trip about 6 years ago on a 1999 248 Voyager that sold me on the quality of Grady White boats and it started my quest for a Grady. I settled on a 1999 228 Seafarer but the 248 was my first choice if I could have found one, the ride is unbelievable, congratulations.
