Out for a cruise Sat evening and had a bottle of wine in the sink with some ice. I hear a clunk behind me and see the sink collapse down into the cabinet. See pics. It looks like there were some L shaped white plastic clips that secured the sink to the countertop with just some silicone sealant around the top. Those clipssink1.jpgsink2.jpg all appear to be brittle and broken. I can access the sink if I pull out the trash can compartment below. I was thinking about just putting some 5200 on the lip and then pressing it up in place and letting it dry. Thoughts? Anyone else had this issue?

Had that happen with my son's kitchen sink. Granite top, stainless sink and construction adhesive to secure scrap blocks of granite. Heavy garbage disposal.

I cleaned it up and 3M5200'ed it back up. Blocked from underneath with wood to wedge it in until 5200 dried.

Ask a cabinet guy who works with Corian to see what they do.

Another winning design. You'd think the ties would have been more than plastic....
