Just got home from a week up in Bar Harbor, Maine where we had a really nice time. Did a great harbor boat tour and also drove over to visit Southwest and Northeast Harbors.

Almost every boat up there has radar, but I had never seen a radar arch like this one that is right over the cockpit!

Notice the custom, wood bench seat in this new boat!

Here's a bit more "normal" radar arch.........

Think that a center console would be a bit "chilly" up here?

Nice pics. That custom bench needs a piano in front of it. How much is the tide variation up there? It looks like quite a bit from those pilings.

I did not ask what the tides run, but I'm guessing in the 8-12 foot range based on the dock pilings that we saw.......based on the moon phase, etc.... Almost all docks were floating.... That made me wonder what they did back in the 1800s!

A little south of Bar Harbor in Casco Bay, we get 8.5 to 11 footers - 10.4 today...
