Had this magnificent creature in my traps today, didn't get the pictures I want. Opened the trap on the swim grid and it didn't waste anytime moving on.

Must be the season, got three young ones in the traps yesterday prawning in Desolation Sound. On returning them to the water they all gave a big squirt of brown ink and headed down. Even while in the trap they did not appear to be too concerned and were still trying to get prawn or two when I picked them up to send them home.
