Canyon 306
I just purchased a new Canyon 306. It is equipped with Garmin 8612sxv’s with Airmar B175m transducer. First day out and was saddened by the sonar clarity at speeds greater than planing speed. There was a lot of interference with intermittent bottom graphing. Hopefully there are some of you that may have experienced similar issues. I’m not sure what to do…… have emailed the dealership that installed the equipment

You should look at where it's installed in relation to other structures. Is it a shoot-thru the hull, through-hull or transom mount? Is it dirty/fouled?

It is a thru hull transducer that was recommended for speeds up to 30 knots and deep water

I have an Airmar thru-hull transducer paired with one Garmin 1243xsv and a Garmin GT 56 UHD transom mounted transducer paired to a second 1243xsv. Both hold bottom well at 45MPH, but the Garmin transducer does it best.

Check the MFD settings and make sure they are not too much gain. Maybe verify if set to Auto and then see if it is better.

May want to check the transducer cable routing. If it goes through the same tunnel as the engine to helm wiring, that can cause interference.
