Hey Guys!

Tried searching the archives and even posted on a few old threads with no reply. Im planning on putting in a sound system on my 85' tourney 190 and would love some tips, ideas and photos for inspiration. Im having real hesitation about placement and size of speakers, and where to place the deck or if I should even get one.... settle with a aux jack only? Have been looking at am/fm iPod stereos and really like the Fusion 50. Could go nicely in the glovebox?

Not looking to do anything fancy, just want to replace the old boom box and 2 extension cords on the dock :)

Thanks in advance

I bought a MB quart head unit WR1 http://www.mbquartnautic.com/englishheadunits.htmlfrom Amazon it has some nice features and is inexpensive... manly due to the fact that MB Quart is now made in China. also got some used outdoor Bose 151 speakers that I'm going to try and mount under the consoles... the direction wont be the best but I'm hoping for the Bose quality to overpower the fact that they will be pointing strait at the deck. I wanted everything to be hidden the head unit will be in the electronics box at the helm. I don't know if this helps at all but i thought i would add something to this thread.

I did this system in the 225. Head unit on the dash. CD Player and black box mounted inside the starboard side storage compartment.

I'm looking for a set of under gunwale speakers for the stern, and a set of MA-800s to replace the existing box speakers.

Hodge's price on this unit is absurd....and my local West matched it no questions asked.

Here is the head unit on my dash.....
