Parts Vu has the Yamaha stainless steel water separators on sale. They are normally some crazy price around $100. They have them for $56 now. Still high, but worth it. My old Mercruiser ones that Grady used, were totally corroded. While I was installing these. I used a sharp hose cutter, and cut off the section of hose that was under the clamp. There was just enough slack to allow me to do that. This way there was a fresh section of hose being clamped.

That's a good deal....mine was rather junky looking, and I was about to order a SS one until I saw the price. Instead I gave mine 2 coats of flat black rust-oleum and a new set of SS screws to mount it. Looks brand new now. :)

Just checked 1/4" is $49 plus shipping , but 3/8" is $88 plus shipping. I need 3/8, wonder if it's just nipples? Different part number though.

heres my invoice. I had to buy new 3/8 barb x 3/8 npt fittings. I wanted new ones anyway.20200610_135239.jpg

Outstanding USMM, thanks for the heads up. I believe it is a good purchase, $60 now. I have the same Kohler Genset.
