This reminds me of a buddies Labrador, if anyone ever threw a stick or anything he would bring it back and pester you forever wanting the game to keep on. Incidentally, the buddy was not a hunter and I don't think the dog ever saw a duck up close.

Not to add any fire more to this thread, but just caught up to it and find lots of comments interesting.

One point worth mentioning in my case. When I bought my Grady, my SS trim tabs were corroded through...yep, had holes in them from corrosion. Had to buy new one's as could not stand the swiss cheese look on my tabs not to mention the water being sprayed around.
