Starboard Low Oil Alarm - Where to Start

Private Message (PM) me on this forum with your email address and I will try to send you an electronic copy of the service manual.
I sent you a message with my email address. Hope it worked correctly.

In the OP, you said that the gauge went from full to half to alarm in 6 miles, which made me think you had a leak, since that's a lot of oil, if the gauge is accurate. While you are working on this, check to see if different oil levels you see in the main are accurately reflected on the gauge.

I think the oil levels and trim indicators may have been misinterpreted. There is no display of oil level other than low.
Part of the confusion is also the fact that when the gauges are powered up, they do a self test and display all bars and icons just so you know the display is working.

Strainer replaced tonight thanks to #2 son. Skinniest of my kids and works on F35’s!

Good news is no sludge in tank. Strainer looked dark black inside. Cleaned tank but do think the pump should be replaced in near future (works but looked bad). Will do in Fall when I pull boat..

Got dark and windy so testing in the morning.

No more oil alarms! One more thing off the list. Thanks everyone…
