I have the top that comes standard on the 208. While the top is not in use, Grady owners manual shows the top swung down forward over the bow section with the canvas cover holding the ribs and the canvas together. On my boat, there is a large whip antenna on the starboard side, and a round GPS receiver on the port side of the cockpit. With these two obstructions, I am UNABLE to swing the top forward and let it lay on the foredeck. Any options available to swing the top backwards, and leave it UP with the cover on it? Or is the only option for a long trailering trip to remove the top all together? I'm sure other guys have a big antenna somewhere. Thanks.

Jake: You should be able to replace the aft Vista top straps with aluminum poles and let that hold the top up, but folded. It will have some side to side motion in it though.

Or you can mount the GPS antenna on your transom cap (that is where mine is) and you should be able to move the VHF antenna either a bit further aft or a bit lower and lay your top forward.
