Suicide knob?

Hi - Bought a standard suicide knob at West Marine but won't fit on my Freedom 255 steering wheel. Can anyone recommend an aftermarket knob they have bought that fits?

Some have the Edson control knob. You can also replace your wheel.

SO the Edson will work on the oblong steering wheel? I purchased another knob but since the wheel is not round and it is more oval (Cross Section) it would not fit around the wheel. I have the 2002 330 Express and would like to know if anyone with the same boat is using this before I buy it.

I have the 2002 Grady, and I installed the Edson knob on the wheel. Works perfectly. I do not have the destroyer style wheel but more modern wheel with the posts and the cast finger grips on the back side. You have to tighten the Edson knob occasionally, but other than that, no complaints.

I have an Edson knob installed on destroyer wheel and it works fine.
