Sure Bail Float Sys

What do u guys think about the "sure bail" float swithces (mine are blue in color) -- are they reliable etc....i've got 2 in my 2002 sailfish.

how can u test them manually to make them activate the pump? there's always a very small amount of water in the bilge but not enough to get sucked up by the pump

Turn the little knob on the side where the wire enters the housing. That will move the float.

I like them. There's two in my Sailfish as well. I replaced one when I bought the boat like 3 years ago. The other is original and still works fine. So, I think they're reliable.
