Hi

I’m still trying to find the best prop for my 2001 282 sailfish
Just repowered with twin Suzuki df250
Anyone have a similar setup
need some info on the mounting hole setup and the prop size
Can’t get the boat to WOT looks like Iam over propped with 3x16x21.5
Any suggestions

thanks

I have a single Suzuki DF250 on my 1999 228 Seafarer, not the same boat as yours but I went with the 3X16X18.5 pitch prop and got incredible hole shot and hit WOT, not cheap but well worth it.

You're in a few threads but I'll reply here.

There are so many variables its hard to get perfect.
Keep trim tabs up and out of the equation.

Not easy but lowering one hole might make those props perfect.
You say "overev" if you pushed it but where was the trim? what if you trim down a hair when you push it?
I've got same 4x15.25x22 props on DF200s on a 265express. Motors on 2nd hole (won't go lower).
Love it.

What are your numbers at 30knts (33mph)? Probably damn good.
Whats your minimum plane speed?

You might try 4 x16 x20 powertech props LSF4 model (The OSF model is 15.25" dia)
LFS - 4 BLADE
16.00" DIAMETER, AVAILABLE IN 14" - 24" PITCH, 4 BLADE, RIGHT- AND LEFT-HAND ROTATION, MODERATE RAKE, FULL TIP CUP, BETTER LIFT AND GRIP THAN LFS3, 4-BLADE EQUIVALENT FOR SUZUKI 16" DIAMETER PROP WITH BETTER CAVITATION RESISTANCE - POLISHED FINISH ONLY

Has anyone seen this report
See attachment
How accurate it is ?
Numbers and figures did not match my boat at all
Tried the same prop
