I've been doing some searches trying to see what others have done & why; here's my question:

I have a 1991 - 24' Offshore - full transon & GW bracket, 2 new tanks (93gal main, and 56 gal auxilary - from Patriot Marine); I am fixing to install. Originally the 93 gallon, was aft, and aux forward. - Since I repowered with a 06'-250 Suzuki 4-stroke; would it not make more sense to go with the 93 gallon forward? Seems like some of the new designs, they eventually made this switch to help compensate for the heavier 4-strokes. I will have this on a local lake, and don't see the need to even use the 56gal, tank. I'm thinking this switch may help with the additional weight, and location of scuppers, etc...

Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

My 86 offshore also the dual tank setup but only one was installed from factory. It has the 93 gallon installed between the cock pit seats

Thanks for the Input. I went ahead and 5200ed the neopreme strips to the tanks, assuming the switch, with the larger foward. With 70 degree weather ahead for the weekend, hoping to get them both set this weekend; and one step closer to sitting it in the water. Thanks.
