Table attachement

I have a 1998 268 Islander and want to find out where I can obtain the attachment that connects the table in the cabin to the bracket mount. I am missing the part that goes from the table leg to the surface mounted plate.

You may want to start by asking GW Customer Service. I have one that I use. I'll check for a label but don't remember seeing one.

I have both the arm and the table. There seems to be a piece like a coupling that connects the two.
Each piece has splines on it sort of like the propeller shaft

The vertical plate on the boat has a v-groove in it. The table mount slides into it. The black arm locks it.

First thing is commenting the vertical mount to the boat. Got it?

Then the table may have an extension arm that odd sets the table and lets you position it where you want.

What attaches the table to the arm?

You are missing a piece. Your post looks correct - secured to the boat between the v-bunks. There is a horizontal aluminum arm that goes on top of the post. The other end has a bushing for the table top.

Not going to be easy. Where did you get get the post from? The Amazon post above has one but it longer. Looks like a China, Inc part. different length. See if you can find them. eBay? Make one? Good luck!

At least you know what you are looking for!

You could use a piece of pipe to couple the two. The arm is handy because you can swing the table out of way to get in/out.

Plastic bushings - slice one side open.
Square aluminum tubing - slice one side open.
Two bolts with thumb knobs and lock washer.
