Slim,
I used aerospace 303 protectant. Made for UV protection. Put it on your boat cushions as well

Yep, I spray down all my cushions and bolsters with 303 also. Keeps everything protected.

I used the 303 as well. You can make the run rail shine also with mop n glo. I have done it and put on a couple of coats. it lasts for a month or so. However, I don't think it has the UV protection properties of 303. Rub rail looks great!
