I want to install a thru hull depth transducer on a 218 scheduled for April delivery. Is there a flat area specifically used for mounting transducers? I know this is a new boat, but didn't know if Grady typically molds this into their hulls. We had a '06 223, and I don't believe there was a specific area for thru hull transducers. Any information is appreciated.

I do not know. But it seems like a good question for the dealer you are buying the boat from? Especially since it's a brand new boat, there's always a chance that things like this could be changed from one year to the next. Either way, once you have the boat you can check and then get the right parts.

Depends on your transducer too. What are you installing?
