Hey Guys:
I am picking the boat up Monday and splashing her in Lake Murray for the initial break in period. I went digital on the controls. Folks say they are more responsive . Are there any tips or is just straight forward in learning to use it? I suspect it is just getting use to it more than anything else.

Just time on the helm. I just picked-up first boat with digital controls last week. No "clunk" when shifting around the dock and hard to tell when it was in gear. Now a little time with them and think they are great.

Good luck!

What everybody else said. Be gentle,,,,Gentle when shifting and throttle. There is no lag time from shift and go.

Time at helm and you'll be good in no time.

Thanks gentlemen. I am excited about it. Can't wait to check out the troll control feature or what ever Yammaha calls it.
