Tips on Re-anchoring seat cushion snaps

Does anyone have a trick for re-anchoring seat cushion snaps when they pull out. I was thinking of filling the old hole with a filler and resrewing but did not think it would hold.

I'd try a little bigger screw. I tried to patch with resin, and they just pulled out. Believe it or not, I also had luck using plasctic drywall anchors. It"s just a snap, not much of a load on it.
