Touch screen not working

The touchscreen on my Simrad Evo2 does not work on the right side of the screen. It works fine on the left side and with the control knob and buttons. Does anyone know if fixing this is just a matter of removing the glass and cleaning any moisture or gunk that may have penetrated the seal? Thanks for your responses.
