It seems that the forums have changed format. Maybe that is good but at the moment, I can't seem to figure out how to tell that a thread has new posts. Is there something I am missing?
My eyes are getting a bit old and I don't see shades of color all that well. I do see that red bar next to the GREAT GRADY FAQ thread. What dies that mean?

I agree - alittle confusing and didnt see any notice it was coming - guess we will get used to it. I actually had to re-bookmark the site once I found it again....the old link says "there was a problem"

I just replied to post and when I returned to the forum this is what I saw. On the right hand side there is a large round circle with the original posters initial. Seasick you is an S. If I replied to you the circle with S in it would then have a smaller circle with an L for Legend intersecting the S circle.

Just noticed the font on the message topic also changed color from blue to black when there is a new reply

I saw the change last night. I'm sure Jeff is still tweaking the new stuff to make it as smooth as possible on us for the transition.

Ok, so yeah, no heads up on this change. What a difference! Looks like Gmail.

Anyhow, Got it to work on this PC without too much trouble, but my travel laptop is still using the old format and says Sorry, but this board is currently unavailable, but yet I am on it right now in parallel.

What gives? I cleared all cookies and history, restarted, changed the URL to be htpps and still same issue.

Actually, its a little easier on my old eyes. I'm not big on change either, but once used to it, I suspect I'll see it as an improvement. Do wish I knew change was afoot, though.

I need to figure out how to get a photo in that circle - that's nicer than a big 'W'.

Go to the big W in the upper right next to Members. Click on it. Select Account details and upload the photo.

Thanks!

As I've been looking around the forum, I'm finding much to like about the new format.
