Tournament 192
Hi all, new to the site and Gradys. Just picked up an 84 tournament 190 with a 130hp yamaha V4 on the back of it. Going through the boat now cleaning it up and getting it ship shape ;). Anyway, I can't find a ton of info on the model specifically which is weird since it has/is still being made, I figure it is all the naming convention changes through the years. In the middle of my deck there is a hatch which I would normally expect to find a fish box under, right now all that is under there is the bilge. Does anyone know if there should be a box of some kind under there? Also any info, tips, good ideas in regards to the boat are always welcome. Thanks, and happy to be here!

Chances are no. My 2011 205 is the same way, lots of open bilge under the deck.

My '86 190 had a drop in tray with a lip that held it in place. Good luck finding one although you may be able to fabricate something.

On my boat, I had to reinforce the hatch as it got soft and spongy. Was a good opportunity to play with fiberglass for the first time. I epoxied a piece of quarter inch plywood underneath it. You could have had a dance contest on it by the time I was finished.
