What does everyone use for offshore towing protection? Sea tow? Your boat insurance? Other

Especially in jersey area
 
Talk directly to the towing companies you're considering and discuss coverage areas and where the tow boat is stationed compared your use area.
 
I'm in Sea Isle City NJ and I have SeaTow. It seems I see more of their tow boats near the Townsends Inlet so that's why I went with them. I think it's about $140 a year.
 
Towboat US and get the benefits of awards with West Marine. I used to have both at the same time, but settled with Towboat US. Also have my Insurance with them which was the best deal I could find at the time.
 
Yes, I also have the unlimited tow included in my Boat/US Geico policy.

Separate from insurance, TowBoat/US Unlimited is $165/year.

Gives you Gold rewards at West Marine (4% everyday discount), Sometimes they have x3 rewards so 12%.
10 cents off marine gas at many gas docks.

Skunk so you use TowBoat/US? What happens after 75 miles? You pay the difference?
 
Ive got TowBoatUs with my boat insurance.
