So the trailer jack on my ancient Shorelandr is leaning, making me wonder how long I have before it fails. The jack itself isn't bent, but the steel brackets that secure it to the trailer frame are flexing. What's the best option here - spring for a new trailer jack or just try to find some new brackets? Anyone done any research on higher quality trailer jacks? I've seen a number of them but they all seem to be made in China? :?

Bass Pro puts a lifetime warranty on theirs. Same price as everyone else, but when it breaks, and it will, take it off and go back and exchange it.

Parthery any ones in particular? I looked at a few on their website but didn't see anything about a warranty. So far I've looked at the 1000lb Fulton, Reese, eTrailer Pro Series, Attwood, and they all look the same to me. Other than buying galvanized for long term corrosion resistance, what else should I be looking for?

If I recall, it's marked on the packaging that its a lifetime warranty. I exchanged one there on a previous boat with no issues.

The 1000 lb galvanized is probably a good choice.
