I just purchased my first Grady White (2000 Sailfish) and a new trailer. After launching it a few times I have noticed the front bunk carpet gets scored fairly bad by the forward through hulls. The only solution I can think of is wider and taller front bunks. I just wanted to see if anyone has run into this and how did you fix it.

I had that problem on the trailer front vee crossmember on my Sailfish when after market ac was installed. The ac pickup was a highspeed type that extended below the hull. The other pickups were nearly flush. I had the ac pickup changed to flush and that solved the problem.

These are the two factory ones up front (head seacocks). They are fairly low profile, but they are still rubbing HARD.

ahill, I plan on installing an aftermarket A/C system in the future. Any advice, pictures, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
