Transom Mount Bolt

I noticed a stress crack where the motor bracket mounts to the transom. The boat is a 96’ 232 with twin 150 Yamahas. Looking to determine if this is more significant than a gel coat stress crack. Transom seems to be solid with no flex.

Too much torque on too small a washer. And looks like chop glass, which has more give than hand laid and rolled. Put some bigger washers, or plates on those bolts.

Could grind it down add a layer or two of glass, reseal and as stated use a larger washer. Make sure you continue to watch it. Could be a soft core that is an issue too - hopefully not.
