Would like to find out the normal screw length used for the plastic transom thru hull w/ the black rubber flappers. If I recall it was about 1.5" and screwed into the transom as well.

Just want to make sure.

I have an '88 Offshore and just replaced the thru-Transom scuppers. On my boat, I used Attwood model number 3881-1. This model has a hose barb at the end to accomodate 1 1/2" hose. According to the catalogue, it is 6 1/4" in length, has a flange diameter of 2 7/8", goes in a 2" cut out hole and can used in hulls up to 3 1/8" thick. I'm quite sure that the threaded portion is 3 1/2" long. But if you're thinking that the threaded bit on the part you need is only 1 1/2", it may be another part entirely...

I visited the Attwood site and saw that the screw size for the install of the flapper is 1" #6.

Thanks for the response.
