Trim Tabs ON-OFF

Is the trim tab pad "ON" all the time or is there an ON-OFF switch somewhere and if so where is the switch ? Thanks.

Depends on the type of trim tabs and the manufacturer, Lenco or Bennet. On my scout trim tab actuators are only energized when the ignition key is on. On my Grady white the trim tabs are energized whenever there is power to the house bus. Control switch configurations vary some have position indicators others do not.

On your 2014 Seafarer they should be factory fitted Bennet with auto retraction and LED indicators. You can only activate them with ignition on and they will retract when you turn the ignition off even if you didn't activate them you will hear the pump going for a while.
