While we were on a long cruise this past week the wife tried to load a Blue Planet DVD into the player. However the tray would not open. We tried everything but did not want to break anything. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

On some of my computers, the CD/DVD tray has a small pin hole for manual opening. You can stick the end of a paper clip in the hole to release the tray. The pin hole is on the front of the tray on the laptop I'm looking at now. I hope this helps.
