Two Simrad 7 inches in Grady 228. Possible?

Looks good.
You have a full size overhead box mine is half that size so I put right next to the box.

It's in, but not in final position. Mounted temporarily to use for the remainder of our trip. Going to trim the top of the box some, it's just a cosmetic piece and hollow behind it. That will allow me to pull it forward some and lean back more to access the "Pages" button at the top of the unit easier. Might not get to play with it tomorrow,, small craft advisory for the lake as Zeta comes by. Forecast wind gusts at 40 tomorrow.

It's alive and mounted correctly. Had some time this morning due to the wind and got the trimming done that I needed and got it positioned. Will clean up the trimmed area later. 20201029_104852.jpg20201029_112536.jpg

Looks good, I guess that wouldn't work with my NSE 12 because mine has all the information (Coordinates, water temp, speed and such) on the top line. Looks like it wouldn't be visible?

It should. The top edge of what you see is all that is there. The rest of it is just the frame of the unit which is unused area.

I believe the information bar can be moved to whatever area you want it. Mine has that option and it is just a GO9 version. A level or two downgrade from yours Pighunter.

Good to know! Thanks

Just want to update everyone... Two evo3 7 inches barely fitted inside the box but i had to fix them on a shorter wood frame to account for the curvature on the right and left sides. Furthermore, i have to remove the central two knobs ... replaced them With shorter pins ...
Very tight and difficult installation... you cant remove screen sun cover unless you lower the box from inside the cabin....
I made a custom SS C
cover for the box .. will post pic for it later.
