underwater anode

4 months in the water and my light look like this try to figure out what is cause this. i have a bonding wire but is connect to a buss bar with other negatives going try and run it direct to the negative treminal on the battery. wounding if i should have a anode on the hull to?

I don't think that is a galvanic issue. It looks like improper anti-foul job.

Your post title talks about an underwater anode but your actual post references an underwater light. What are we talking about here?

Looking at your picture... what question do you have? I don't see anything wrong there except for the lack of anti-foul.

You mentioned a bonding wire going to a bus bar and that you are thinking of moving the bonding wire to the battery? Why do that when it's already done properly?

Overall... I'm confused on what you're actually asking and why you would second guess, what sounds like, a proper bonding connection already in place.

One thing you do not want to is relocate any bonding connections. Doing so incorrectly can result in the marine equivalent of flesh eating bacteria

like others, I'm a little confused about what the question is.

Are you saying that the black bottom paint disappeared from around the light? Or was it not there to begin with?
Are you concerned that the bronze light turned green? thats going to happen.
Are you concerned with the tube worm shells?
