Upgrading from AM/FM Tape Stereo

I am looking to upgrade the AM/FM Tape deck that is on my1998 Gulfstream i recently purchased. Will I run into any issues with purchasing any type of unit? I am looking at the Sony CDXM30 Marine CD Receiver MP3/WMA/AAC Player with its relative low cost and good reviews.

Any advice or things I should know about the wiring and getting this to fit in the existing slot for it?

I looked at this model Sony, but put in Alpine Marine deck with ipod controller. The full ipod interface sold me on it and that it is an Alpine. I have had automotive products from Alpine and their marine stuff is equally as good.
