How do you remove the padding around the V Berth?

Mine has some rips in it that I would like to repair or replace in the off season.

Seems the screws are buried behind vinyl. Are the panels glued in?

I have a 330 Express
Took mine out, the padding is slid down over metal clips, some cusions have screws hidden under the pads, some dont. Just try lifting them straight up.
hope that helps

I did try lifting straight up with no luck.

How much force did you have to use to get them to release?

If it's screwed in they will be under the center strip, push up on the center and see if there are screw hide under it, or if the center pops off.

Checked there, seems I can feel screw heads but they are buried under the vinyl. No way to access them without ripping.

Which is fine, but that is the point of no return.

I've removed these in other boats, but not a Grady - so take this with a grain of salt. When it comes to "buried" screw heads, try looking closer for a tiny slit in the vinyl where you can access the screw head. Move/maneuver the vinyl such to try and expose that little slit/hole. You might have to push that center strip up or down to expose the hole.

Like Dennis said, mine had the phillips screws in the slots. Use a very bright LED spotlight while you spread them apart and look for that little slit, then use a new/good phillips head to find the bite into the head of the screw and back them out.
