Repowering my 2002 Sailfish with Suzuki DF250AP’s in 2 weeks.

I’ve done a lot of searching on here already and seeing various results on the bang cap replacement. I think vinyl will be the way to go. I dont know where I’d source the stainless and I worry about stress cracks if I glass over. I am being quoted $40 for a 12 foot strip plus freight. Obviously I don’t need all that but it’s the only option. Anyone found something better? I’m in the Annapolis area.

I got a 6 ft strip from a Grady White dealer 5 years ago and it cost me $76.

I just ordered from my Grady dealer last week. Was quoted $7/ft. I ordered 6' and with shipping / tax it was $60. Came in today and I'm picking it up tom. Part # 10-0511.

Your 12' price sounds pretty incredible. Not a single dealer in within 3hrs of me (FL) stocked it!

I called GW and they sent me one at n/c - 06 330 Express.
Grady33, did you call down to the customer service line at their headquarters and request it? I have an 07 330 Express that I'd like to have replaced.

Carolyn sent me one too! She's the best.

I didn't end up using it. I had my transom glassed over so it's fixed forever. Unfortunately for the OP I threw part away before I moved to Annapolis a few months ago.
